How to get there:
A portal can be found in Lazuli next to the Rainbow Tower.
Rules:
-Do not destroy or create ANY blocks. Build/Destroy is on in most parts of Christmas Village because it is necessary for games to function correctly. This entire area will be monitored and if you break this rule you will have some serious explaining to do.
-Each game has it's own rules. All of them must be followed. Be sure to read over the rules before playing. Some might even require the help of an admin. Breaking a rule because you did not read the signs is not an excuse, the rules are always very short and clearly marked.
-Games cost money to play. The prizes you get are usually enough to cover the cost of playing (unless you're unlucky). Prices are different for each game, and how you pay for them is different. For example, one game may require you to buy a pig saddle for $5 (don't think of this as buying the item, it's simply making you pay to play the game), another game might just require you to walk through a door hooked up to a Paid Switch. DO NOT attempt to avoid paying. This is cheating and just makes you an asshole.
-While games have all been tested many times, if you do manage to find an exploit report it immediately. Taking advantage of it is cheating and you will be punished.
Secret Santa:
The Secret Santa building is a way to show appreciation for other members. Each player can pick out a chest and place a sign under it, labeling it as your own. Any other player can place items in any other chest for other players. All gifts should be anonymous. (Do not take items from any chests other than your own- if someone's chest is full let them know)
If a chest is empty the light above it should be OFF. When you place something in someone's chest turn the light ON so they know they have something in there
Other Buildings:
Chest Bank
Frosty's Fun Shop
This little chest filled building will have random items in the chests. You can pick ONE item per DAY to claim as your own. (This is easily monitored by admins. Don't cheat.) Check often as items are put in them at random times.
The Village
Shops in the village are fun to explore, but currently serve no purpose. Hopefully next year these will be part of a Christmas Quest!
Games:
Shooting Game:
Save the elves from the invading Zombies to earn prizes
Redstone Race:
Beat the redstone to the end of the course and make it through the door before it closes to win a prize
Railway Archery:
Ride in a cart through while shooting at evil invading snowmen. Each one you kill gives you a prize at the end! (Note: do not exit your cart for any reason during game play)
Pig Ride:
Race around the track using the new Carrot on a stick item (Just for fun)
Deadly Pig Racing:
Ride your pig to the end without killing your pig (or dying yourself!) to win a prize!
Parkour:
The giant North Pole sign is also home to a large Parkour course. Simply make your way to the top to win some amazing prizes (or a piece of coal)!
MiniSpleef:
This small non-deadly version of spleef is fun to play with your friends
Maze:
Find your way to the end to win a prize! (It's a lot tougher than it looks. Make sure you have $20 handy in case you need to /home. haha)
Cart Dash:
Push buttons to keep carts from falling into a hole at your feet. An admin must be there to time your game if you want to win prizes.
Bowling:
Toss items into holes while redstone pistons open and close holes (...it's impossible to word this without sounding dirty..). This game is tough to win, you can even play with a friend if you don't mind sharing a prize!
Elf Bowling:
Shoot snowballs at Elves to knock them into a hole and win prizes!
Unfinished:
Unfortunately not everything got finished. Look forward to playing these next year when Christmas Village returns
For now just ignore these things.
